Submission and Ask Rules
Submitting:
- Only LGBTQ members or allies, please! We only want positive submissions. I may, however, make an exception for petition signing.
- The occasional adorable LGBTQ couple is just dandy but keep it clean, for the kids’ sake!
- We’d all like to see certain things change for the community but submissions of this kind may bring followers’ moods down a tad if they aren’t taking place. We want optimism, people!
- Using correct grammar and spelling is also a bit of a personal pet peeve so, once again, please don’t be insulted if I correct those!
- Please bear in mind that submissions are actually submissions and not fan mail. They will be submitted but you’re just creating more hassle for me, with cropping etc.
Asking:
- I am entirely open to ideas for improving how this blog looks or little changes I could make in posts but please don’t tell me how to run it. I read 3 websites every day and don’t miss a single post to make the front page. I’m also the only moderator. This is harder to keep up with than you’d think!
- You are more than welcome to use this option to vent about anything LGBTQ orientated that you wish but this is not an advice blog! I’m a kid with a computer, not Oprah Winfrey. Any posts asking for advice will be deleted due to the huge amount I have received.
- You are also more than welcome to advertise your own blog but only if it has an actual point to it:- like advice, coming out stories, etc. If it’s just a personal blog, this is not the place to advertise.
- When asking questions, please keep in mind I don’t have all the answers. If you can Google it, please do as the Internet is far more knowledgeable than I am!
- Please note, unless I feel your question is obviously very personal or you tell me specifically to answer you privately, I will post all asks publicly.
- Fan mail drives me insane. So please, please, please try to only use the ask and submission boxes!
